"What a wonderful little restaurant! Beautiful terrace view over river and wineries, amazing staff (very friendly - I assume - owner working there). Burgers are very delicious and good sized, nice selection of other food too (from schnitzels to ribs and steaks). Prices for both food and drinks are really fair. One of us is unable to have lactose, and the owner was really understanding and accomodating. All in all - really happy that we stopped here for a lunch. Even with outside temperature of 36 degrees it was cozy to be at the terrace, and delicious food absolutely helped with surviving the heat :D"

"Just stopped here for a beer. Very nice setting in Reil (a great little town) set back from the Mosel a bit. SHOULD have all five stars but for two things: the beer, Bitburger on tap, wasn't as fresh as I've found it elsewhere but it was still 5€ for a 0,4l mug, AND, the proprietor was working by himself while there were several tables and he was mildly hostile to guests coming in. Like, dude, it's not THEIR fault you don't have help."

"Large outdoor seating area with views of the Mosel. When you arrive there’s some signs at the entrance to the outdoor seating area. If you’re only there for drinks you can sit at the Stammtisch on the right or sit at the counter of the bar straight ahead. If you want to eat you can pick up a menu and sit at the tables on the left. The server will come to your table to get your order. The mega burger was filling and very flavorful with fresh lettuce, tomato, cucumber, fried onion rings, cheese, and bacon on the burger. It comes with a side of sweet potato fries. The rump steak was cooked very nicely, a tender medium full of flavor. It came with pfeffer sauce and fries. The owner was the only one serving, but our drinks and food came out quickly and he was able to manage all the tables with a friendly smile. It’s also worth taking a peak into the restaurant, up the stairs and to the left, where you’ll also find the toilets. The restaurant is full of character. There’s also plenty of parking on the street and in the parking lot right by the river."

"We ate here yesterday. I had the Mega Burger and sweet potato fries. It was crystal clear that the hamburger patty was one of those pressed, frozen, unseasoned patties. The meat itself wasn’t very good, but they made up for it with the toppings and presentation. My husband said his Currywurst was amazing."
